21st Annual HSCADV Conference

General registration is now open until May 10!

Overview

The 2024 HSCADV Conference on Gender-Based Violence, Illuminating Gender Inequity in Crises: Breakthroughs to Liberation, will be a day and a half on May 16 – 17, 2024. Join us in person at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for this learning opportunity!

From Hawaiʻi’s ongoing homelessness crisis to the Maui wildfires, we continue to see that women and children are uniquely impacted by social, political, and economic issues. In addition to addressing the connection between domestic violence and other community concerns, this event will provide space for discussion, sharing of experiences, and collaboration to address shared goals towards collective liberation.

Conference attendees are represented across sectors and include domestic violence service providers, crime victim/survivor advocates, violence preventionists, mental health professionals, legal professionals, educators, domestic violence intervention program staff, children’s advocates, criminal legal system professionals, and professionals interested in survivor justice and anti-violence efforts.
