Crystal Kionia is a 2nd generation Tongan immigrant who understands the importance of serving our communities. She currently works for the Hawaiʻi Coalition for Immigrant Rights and is co-founder of Hawaiʻi Alliance of Pacific Islanders (HAPI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the unity of Pacific Islander communities in Hawaiʻi through community-building programs that center social and cultural wellbeing.
Her interest lies in representing and advocating for social justice for our Pacific Islander communities. She is also passionate about her culture and creating pathways to reconnect and reclaim our cultural knowledge and history to create a sustainable future rooted in our indigenous values.
