Overview

The 2023 HSCADV Conference, Reimagining a Path to Safety and Health, will be on June 8, 2023. Join us in person at Ala Moana Hotel for this learning opportunity!

Conference attendees are represented across sectors and include domestic violence service providers, crime victim/survivor advocates, violence preventionists, mental health professionals, legal professionals, educators, domestic violence intervention program staff, children’s advocates, criminal legal system professionals, and professionals interested in survivor justice and anti-violence efforts.

FAQ

What are the registration fees?

Early Bird Registration (April 10 – May 10)

  • HSCADV Member Programs: 20% off general admission (Must be employed by an HSCADV member program to qualify.)
  • Students: $35 (Please register using your school email address.)
  • Community Inclusion: $35 (people of color; Indigenous people; Other historically marginalized communities; Individuals from diverse backgrounds; and Survivors of domestic violence and need financial assistance)
  • General Admission: $65

From May 11 until June 2, registration fees will increase by $10.

Is the registration fee for the entire conference or per workshop?

The registration fee covers access to the entire conference.

How can I pay for my registration fee?

Eventbrite will accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards at the registration checkout.  HSCADV will also accept registration by check.  If paying by check, please mail to P.O. Box 214, Honolulu, HI 96810.

How many tickets can I buy at one time?

You can purchase up to 10 tickets at one time.  This is useful if you are buying tickets for yourself and your staff and want to include the payment on the same credit card.

Can we use the same email when we register?

No.  For accurate reporting purposes and to personalize your conference agenda on SCHED, we do not recommend you use the same email address when registering.  If multiple people register at one time, each person will receive a confirmation email of their registration and an email to create an account on SCHED to personalize their conference agenda.

How do I know if I am an HSCADV member?

If you are employed by one of the following HSCADV member programs listed on our website, you qualify under the HSCADV member program rate.

For HSCADV member programs, does the fee cover the whole organization or just one person?

The fee covers only one individual person.

When does registration close?

Early bird registration will close on May 10 at 11:30 pm HST.  General registration will be open from May 11 until June 2.

Registration will close on Friday, June 2 at 5:00 pm HST.

What happens after I register?

After registering for the conference, you will be automatically redirected to the web platform, SCHED, and receive a confirmation email with the link to accessing SCHED.  This is the platform attendees will use to schedule conference sessions.  Registrants should stay tuned for more details and instructions.

What accommodations will be provided and when is the last day to request them?

Accommodations available:

  • Assistive listening devices
  • Captioning
  • Large print font on all materials
  • Wheelchair access throughout the event facilities
  • Lactation room
  • Diet restrictions or dietary needs
  • Language interpretation (indicate which language)

The last day to request accommodations is Thursday, May 25 at 5:00 pm HST.

Will attendees receive conference materials?

Yes, attendees will receive conference materials if they register on Eventbrite before Friday, June 2.

Questions and concerns about the conference can be sent to training@hscadv.org and HSCADV staff will respond within one (1) business day.
