Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

Federal agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that is responsible for responding to natural and manmade disasters including terroristic events and public health crises.

Create an account and file for unemployment benefits with the State of Hawaiʻi’s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

Hawaiʻi Department of Labor: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance

Those financially affected by COVID-19 can file for additional benefits with PUA.

Household Hardship Relief Fund Program

This is only available for Oʻahu residents.  Applicants must demonstrate economic hardship due to COVID-19 or related business closures and should have no more than $10,000 in liquid assets.
