Former engineering major with the Running Rebels of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, Sanoe is currently the Executive Director of Women Helping Women. This Maui native started her work in domestic violence in 2013 with Women Helping Women as a Temporary Restraining Order Advocate supporting victims with court and legal advocacy.

These days Sanoe leads the charge at Women Helping Women as Executive Director alongside 24 dynamic advocates creating safety and support for survivors, working closely with other “first responders” in domestic violence, and bringing awareness through events and presentations to Maui County, the state of Hawaii and beyond. Sanoe joined the board in 2017 and is currently the President of the Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence Board of Directors.
